ANTHONY REDFEATHER NAVA. is from the Pascua Yaqui Nation of Arizona. Born in Nuremberg, Germany, his father was in the military and based in Germany. His father’s name is Everado Nava and is from the Pascua Yaqui tribe and his mother’s name is Mary Nava Fraire and she is from the Keetowah Band of Cherokee of Oklahoma. His father was transferred to Kentucky and Louisville is where his family settled.  He has been working in the Southern Indiana and Kentucky area for 15 years. "Bridging the Gap of Diversity", is his goal to teach children and adults alike. In schools, he teaches that "Native people are as diverse as all the world." You would have to write a book on each tribe to describe each one. In his educational programs he teaches a bit of each one. It is our responsibility to keep children's minds open to being diverse and creating an atmosphere to learn about culture. He feels to a degree that Native culture has been lost and he is helping to bring it back.  He teaches the importance of Oral Traditions, Social Structure of our Peoples', Religious Aspects, Tribal Politics, Family Structure, Economics (trade system), Medicines, Foods (gathering, hunting and how the people prepared and cooked food), he explains the importance of Regalia, and demonstrate many types of dances. In music, he explains the many types of instruments and songs. He uses rattles, flutes and drums, and teach the importance of why they were used in our traditions and culture in the past and why they are still used today.

A man joining our organization starts with an experiential weekend called the New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA). Our commitment during this weekend is to give you a transformational experience along with information you can use to incorporate this transformation into your everyday behavior. All activities during the weekend are optional, but you will get the most benefit if you participate fully. The weekend format is specially designed to allow you, at your own pace, to break down the psyche's natural resistance to change. After the weekend, we provide a 12 week facilitated integration program that helps you create your own personal men's group with other men from your training. For many men these groups become a non-judgmental support system which helps men understand why they do the things they do. Additional specific trainings are available for those interested.  The weekend training is also designed to help you bring your entire life, including your work life, into focus. You will also learn basic conflict resolution skills that will enhance your ability to deal with interpersonal issues at work and in your personal life. It is with our loved ones that we all too often find ourselves caught in a complicated web of irritating irrationality. Often, at the root of our emotional patterns are wounds from the past that remain unhealed. During the NWTA weekend you will begin to address some of your emotional baggage and lighten both your load and the load you ask your loved one to carry for you.
